S1 PLATFORM OF SALMAN FIELD BASIC AND DETAIL ENGINEERING

Iranian Offshore Oil COMPANY (IOOC) intends to renovate and further develop the Soroosh and Nowrooz fields through execution of the Soroosh Renovation and Development project. The Soroosh&Nowrooz fields are located in The Persian Gulf. Soroosh field is located approximately 80 kilometers south-west of Kharg Island and Nowrooz field is located approximately 50 km to the north of the Soroosh field, approximately 100 kilometers west of Kharg Island (Iran). The Soroosh&Nowrooz integrated development project consists of seven new platforms, associated utilities and five new offshore pipelines. The pipeline network consists of two multiphase flow lines, two oil export pipelines and an inter-field emulsion pipeline.

The Soroosh wellheads are located on two wellhead platforms. SWP-1 is bridge linked to the Soroosh complex while the SWP-2 platform is located 4 km to the south of Soroosh complex. The processing facilities for the Soroosh field are located on the SPP-1 and SPP-2 platforms in the Soroosh Complex. The facilities on these platforms carry out crude treatment to tanker export specification, prior to transfer to the FSU. The Soroosh crude is processed on the SPP-1 platform. Nowrooz crude is treated on the SPP-2 platform. The Soroosh complex has a dedicated living quarter’s platform (SLQ).

The Nowrooz field consists of a platform complex, which includes living quarters (NLQ) and a wellhead platform (NWP-1). Nowrooz crude is partially treated at the NPP-2 processing platform and exported as an oil/water emulsion to the Soroosh SPP-2 platform 50 km to the south. The NPP-2 platform has been extended to accommodate additional wellheads.
